NC Latino advocacy group cuts back as funds shrink

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) – A North Carolina Latino advocacy group is cutting back after its budget was slashed by 30 percent. The News & Observer of Raleigh reported that El Pueblo Inc.’s funding has dropped from $1.3 million last year to about $1 million, because of the recession.
